AOE has been awarded a Reallocation Homeland Security Grant to provide all SU/SDs with online cybersecurity training for employees. AOE will issue an RFP to vendors to provide online cybersecurity training for the estimated 18,000 SU/SD employees statewide. Ideally, one vendor will provide a statewide portal that will enable individual SU/SDs to set-up and manage their own employee training cycle. The aim would be to make the training available starting with the 23-24 SY. Prior to an RFP being released, SU/SD education technology directors and IT managers are invited to a virtual meeting to discuss the scope of the RFP and the services being sought.
